This is another fabulous concert pairing. The eclectic folk of North Carolina's Bowerbirds is perfectly matched with opener Phosphorescent. I'm not as big a fan of Bowerbirds but I can attest that New York's Phosphorescent (Matthew Houck) released one of the most hauntingly beautiful albums of the year, Pride (which was also #31 on my 2007 albums of the year).
