Vampire Weekend are already receiving a ton of press and there's quite a lot of anticipation already for their debut which comes out on 1/29. They may be the first and only indie band I've ever heard compared to Graceland-era Paul Simon.

MGMT is another band that is gaining a good amount of publicity right now with help from an appearance on Letterman and an opening slot for an Of Montreal tour. Their debut album, Oracular Spectacular, is out now.
