Keep your ears peeled for Montreal's Islands 2nd full length release entitled Arm's Way due out May 20th on ANTI-. In the meantime, stroll on over to ANTI-'s website to stream the first single off of the album very appropriately named "The Arm".We were big fans of Islands' 2006 release Return to Sea. The Islands make catchy, epic pop songs straight out of Canada that leave you both humming and thinking. The new single sounds darker and less overly produced than the first album which could turn out to be not such a bad thing in my humble opinion. I like the sound and can't wait to get my hands on the rest of the record...
